Still young and not the most handsome Pond Heron, with hardly any color on his feathers and a drab expression on his face. I thought the purple Renge flowers would cheer him up a bit.
I hope you will grow up to be a good looking Pond Heron!

2 Intermediate Egrets, チュウサギ were working very hard on ridding the area of frogs.

About 10 Cattle Egrets, アマサギ were feeding in the park. I had always seen them in and around paddy fields, so this looked kind of strange to me.
Would they stay here to build nests? None had any red eyes yet though.
Final Egret, jumping right into the frame at the very moment...
Common Kingfisher, カワセミ
This park, you can expect anything...!!!
