Shorebirds of the last few days 3

At a different location, some more Black-winged Stilts, セイタカシギ

Common Redshank, アカアシシギ  almost covering up a Ruff, エリマキシギ

The Ruff, エリマキシギ with a Red-necked Stint, トウネン in the rear.

 Our Ruff, エリマキシギ coming out of hiding for a moment to pose for us

I was particularly happy to see this little fellow, Broad-billed Sandpiper, キリアイ

Here with a Stint on the right

Stretching its wings

and moving on

Back to the mud field. There is that Stint still hanging around. Who are you?

A few days later, who do we find?

Terek Sandpiper, ソリハシシギ again and he still doesn't like to show his face... 

Just one Black-winged Stilt, セイタカシギ

Mr or Mrs Red Knot, コオバシギ (right) and Ruff, エリマキシギ (left)

The Knot, not very red at the moment, but what's in a name?

And the Ruff, without the ruffling erimaki neck, but again...

There were a fair number of Red-necked Stints, トウネン, busy doing their thing and coming real close sometimes!

And then there was that other bird again, ?? Stint,  ??トウネン

Cattle Egret, アマサギ were circling the area, not finding any cattle :-) and getting ready to leave,

summer colors have faded. They will be all white again next month.

Yes guys, it's time to move on.

Every years is different, this year birds are early. Are they worried about the typhoons?
