It's July and rain falls down in buckets. This Tsuyu takes its time! However, it hardly affects me in my private airconditioned room in this orthopedic hospital. 2 Weeks ago, I tumbled down a trail, while birding in Hokkaido. Now I'm waiting for an operation on my triple fractured ankle. I will be here for a while... Filling the time with organizing my recent photos. Below some small stuff from mid-June
The first one this season: Orange Hairstreak, アカシジミ It's not the beautiful specimen I'd hoped for, but why should I complain?
Below a picture of a spider's nest. The young spiders are crawling in and around the webby mass that surrounds the white ball, which was the original egg sac. The mother sits in a corner on the right.
