Small stuff achi kochi

Continued from previous post. The nurses have finished checking my bandages and are back at their station. I take out my laptop and I find so many small treasures in June's photo album, I cannot possibly post them all. 

West Fukuoka: Young Wagtails, exploring their world, White Wagtail, ハクセキレイ

Jumping out of the green wild bush: Gooseneck Loosestrife, オカトラノオ

I was worried that the people with their big nets would find it. It's been here 2 weeks now. So far so good. メスグロヒョウモン · Sagana Fritillary

At the usual tree the first beetles have arrived

A little further south, Pea Blue, ウラナミシジミ

Every year's classic: Small Coppers, ベニシジミ on Daisy Fleabane, ヒメジョオン

How many butterflies? Cabbage Whites, モンシロチョウ

It's the perfect weather for Rain Lilies, サフランモドキ. The Large Skipper, キマダラセセリ likes them as well.

This year they appear "everywhere" Short-tailed Blue, ツバメシジミ

Japanese Grass Lizard, ニホンカナヘビ

This perfectly shaped orange blob was calling me from far. 

In one corner of the park were clusters of young pretty Stinkbugs, nymphs of the Southern Green Stink Bug, ミナミアオカメムシ

They like to huddle together

Left over from Mt Kuju: Emerald moth sp. コシロスジアオシャク

Hoso Longhorn Beetle? ホソカミキリ

Flowers of the Japanese Snowbell, エゴノキ, floating down the stream

GW day 2

A hike at a different location, just a few km NE. At the start is a river, where Dippers and Wrens are common

Brown Dipper, カワガラス - just a few weeks old, I think. Still following the parents and begging for food.

Eurasian Wren, ミソサザイ I heard them wherever I walked. And eventually lost count

Jussst taking off, Narcissus Flycather, キビタキ

Way ahead, at a distance of maybe 50m, something was hurrying up the tree. I can hardly tell from the photo, but it must have been a Treecreeper, キバシリ

There were many mushrooms, maybe true Morel Mushrooms, like the Yellow morel (アミガサタケ)

I don't usually see butterflies here this time of the year, but there was one Gossamer-winged

No birds, but mushrooms

 I have wanted to see them for a long time. This year I got the chance. After climbing a lot of steps...        ....I finally found them!

Another Stinkhorn with various names, such as Bamboo Mushroom, Bamboo Pith, Long Net Stinkhorn, Crinoline Stinkhorn or Veiled Lady

While carrying my small lens, I also grabbed a red colored Longhorn beetle, ベニカミキリ

Back at the car another Longhorn welcomed me: Gomadara Kamikiri , ゴマダラカミキリ 

It is one of the most well-known species of longhorn beetle in Japan

It reminded me of another encounter...
