Waders in the Lotus fields

There is often too much water, or not enough. It's hard for little waders to find a place. May 1st:

At an old not well-maintained field: Marsh Sandpiper, コアオアシシギ Just 1 bird

Wood Sandpipers, タカブシギ  Small groups here and there

In that same old field a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, ウズラシギ ...

... and a Long-toed Stint, ヒバリシギ

Common Snipes, タシギ popped their heads out at various places.

The Black-winged Stilts, セイタカシギ with their long red legs are fine.
