Sightseeing Kyushu

It's fun to show a visitor from overseas around in Kyushu. To re-discover old places. See familiar sights through another eye. Let half-forgotten memories bubble up.

The Hina doll and sagamon display was the first item on our list, so we drove to Yanagawa and did the sights, but skipped the boat trip

Maybe next time

In Saga we saw temples with frogs

and monkeys

Visited the paper factory

Gazed at the yellow rice terraces

And marveled at a fresh spring butterfly

Walked the narrow tombai wall alleys in Arita

Discovered some places that we might visit again and some definitely not

Long time no see salt factory. Times have changed!

Friendly staff explained how it's done

Kyushu is a great place to visit.
And to live
