Greater White-fronted Geese, マガン and Tundra Bean Goose, ヒシクイ

11 Greater White-fronted Geese, マガン and 1 Tundra Bean Goose, ヒシクイ came to one of the two ponds in Imazu. It was quite spectacular to see this many big birds together. The weather was good and a small crowd showed up to watch them

Adult birds have a prominent patch of white feathers at the base of their bill and a white nail on the bill; young birds have a dark nail and just a small white spot.









It was the night of the Lunar Eclipse.
