We drove to the Odaira trailhead of Mt Sobo so Jaap could climb the mountain. It was one of the last days of July and extremely hot. The elevation of 600m brought some relief, but then there were biting bugs...

The first part of the trail along the river was beautiful and easy going. When the path became too steep I turned around. Jaap negotiated 2 tops in about 7 hours.
