One day in west Fukuoka

One day’s round in West Fukuoka: As usual during Spring Break, I love having free time, I love the cool spring breeze and warm sunshine, I love it all, but I miss my buddies, the winter birds.

 Amur White Wagtail, ホオジロハクセキレイ

1 of 2 Female Red-breasted Mergansers, ウミアイサ. All the others have moved on.

Zitting Cisticola, セッカ

Bramblings, アトリ in the field, looking handsome with their black heads

Little Ringed Plovers, コチドリ. A fair number were patrolling the field behind the pig farm

Just 1 Eurasian Siskin, マヒワ among the Green Finches

Buff-bellied Pipit, タヒバリ

Just 2 days before at the same place: Common Starling, ホシムクドリ. Only one bird, no other Starlings of any kind
