Waders and Shorebirds in West Fukuoka, 2

A week later the grasses had become taller, providing a bit of shelter. Not enough for Stilts, but some Plovers and Sandpipers were there. Even 2 Long-toed Stints, ヒバリシギ

In the same corner also a Red-necked Stint, トウネン  Just 1 but in striking summer colors!

With a Wood Sandpiper, タカブシギ

Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, ウズラシギ  there were 2 nearby

Side by side, hibarishigi and uzurashigi

A number of Snipes were very active, tress passing each other's territory and making a fuss.
Common Snipe, タシギ

The 2 Cattle Egrets, アマサギ were grazing at the far end. Same 2 as last week?
