April WBSJ meeting in Imazu

Many people showed up for this month's meeting. Everybody had a good look at this different Wigeon that appeared to be a hybrid American Wigeon, アメリカヒドリ in one of the 2 ponds

No wind, no waves. Even at a large distance ducks could be identified easily.
Falcated Ducks, ヨシガモ

The Far Eastern Curlews, ホウロクシギ were quarreling about the best resting spot during high tide

The one Bar-tailed Godwit, オオソリハシシギ flew the scene

Fork-tailed Swifts, アマツバメ dropped by to take a sip (I think) There were more than 10

Keeping an eye on the mudflats from way up high, Peregrine Falcon, ハヤブサ
