Higashiyoka rest

The last bit of birds at the tidal flats of the Ariake Sea at Saga

Sharp-tailed Sandpipers, ウズラシギ

Still in Kyushu, Common Shelducks, ツクシガモ
I missed out on the Ruddy one.

Happy to see the Red-necked Stints, トウネン

The moment after the visit of Super Dry

Coming back little by little. First the bigger egrets, like this Great Egret, ダイサギ with its summer feathers flying in the breeze

The Black-faced Spoonbills, クロツラヘラサギ

On the way back a quick detour to the fields. After the rain the lotus fields were full of water, too deep for small birds. There was one field with about 20 Black-winged Stilts, セイタカシギ  8 Greenshanks, アオアシシギ and 2 Ruffs, エリマキシギ
