Leucism is an abnormal plumage condition caused by a genetic mutation that prevents pigment from being properly deposited on the bird's feathers.

In this case the ears are still colored, say it a bit pale, just as the bill and the feet.
So the bulbul can keep it's name. And identity.

So white and conspicuous, how long will that last?
