Siberian Thrush, マミジロ

It appeared in the darkest corner of the park, a magnificent male. A female was seen nearby, but not by me.

In the same darkness a female Siberian Robin, コルリ

That day at the water bowl: Narcissus Flycatcher, キビタキ

Kanatake 2, April 27th

One week after the walk I stopped by. The Map butterfly larvae on the on Ficus erecta had grown and were turning into cocoons.

Common Mapwing larva, イシガケチョウ 幼虫 on Ficus erecta, イヌビワ

The Silver Dragons, ギンリョウソウ are doing well. (I restored the fence)

The q mark plant that I-san found indeed turned out to be an orchid.

We walked the usual course on this warm sunny day and there were so many things to look at, I could hardly keep up. 

Barn swallow, ツバメ

オオアリドオシ (Ooaridooshi) Damnacanthus indicus var. major

Japanese Fairy Bells, (Hochakuso) ホウチャクソウ

flowers of the Maple tree, モミジの花

フデリンドウ, Gentiana zollingeri

Creeping Mazus、ムラサキサギゴケ

Golden Orchid, キンラン

ツルコウゾ (Broussonetia kaempferi)  OR  ヒメコウゾ (Broussonetia kazinoki) ?

with Caterpillar, ケムシ of Mulberry Tiger moth, クワゴマダラヒトリ

Broad-winged damselfly spec, ニホンカワトンボ 

Some have white markings on their wings, others don't. Different sub spec?

Owlet moth spec, アツバ

Four-spotted chafer, ヨツモンカメノコハムシ (leaf beetle)

2 different kinds of snails
