Yamaga Tourou Roman festival、祭り

In February bamboo lanterns and paper umbrellas decorate the streets leading to the old Yachiyoza theater, were you can watch a drum and a tourou dance performance. For us the street decorations offered enough photograph material, specially when the crowds had left to watch the show.

Got to like the funny note in there!

Children's art

The biggest and probably most famous public bath house of Kyushu, Sakura Onsen attracts busloads of tourists during the festival

A free foot bath across the road

The owner of this house took decorating his front porch a bit too far I think :-)

A town with a name has to have it's own manhole covers
