Migrating birds in the park, part 1

The following posts are way too late, but due to having a great time with relatives visiting us over the last 2 months I was too much occupied with other mostly fun things. Sorry!

On April 18th a Siberian Blue Robin, コルリ hopped out of the bush first thing in the morning, but then went back in hiding for a while.

A few hours later we saw him again, a young male

Other birds around were Brown-headed Thrush, アカハラ

Male Japanese Robin, コマドリ

Asian Brown Flycatcher, コサメビタキ (1 of 3 birds)

Blue-and-White Flycatcher, オオルリ male

and female

Female Red-flanked Bluetail, ルリビタキ One of the few winter birds that is still hanging around

At the bird bath several Eastern Crowned Warblers, センダイムシクイ came to visit. Or was it the same bird all the time? It has a bit of a weak colored crown, so it could be.

The flycatchers showed up just briefly. Why were they so reluctant?
