Black-headed Bunting, ズグロチャキンチョウ

Nomozaki peninsula, near Nagasaki city juts out at sea towards the south-west, making it an excellent landing spot for migrating birds arriving in spring. To get there we have to drive a few hours, but that's part of the fun. There were 2 unusual visitors hanging out in a neglected vegetable patch and a lot of old birding friends.



 2 males. The one on the left a bit younger than the other bright yellow colored bird. And/or still in winter plumage.
