Another trip at sea 3, Rescue at sea

A young Night Heron came flying straight to Fu Kyo, circled the yacht once and landed on top of the cabin roof, giving us the chance to watch him real close.

juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron, ゴイサギ

A bit too close; he took off again quite soon. A few minutes later we found him drifting at sea and we wondered if we should capture him.

But before a decision was made he got airborne again and landed on Fu Kyo's fore deck, where he settled down.

We gave him space and kept an eye out through the window.

The moment we got close to Genkai Island he left and made it safely ashore.

Good Luck to you, Goisagi!
