I checked the fields and waters in Imazu, but didn't see anything spectacular. Except from the hunting Hen Harrier - female of course - apon arrival. After she'd left the ducks settled down and I took a photo of these 2 male Tufted Ducks, キンクロハジロ

Day trip to the North-east
Looking for Loons and the like I headed out to S-Island. There was a flock of some sort way out towards A-Island. Too far to id anything. In one of the parks, a Wagtail got my attention.

Imazu Spotted Redshank, ツルシギ
Trying out new gear... The switch to a new brand is the hardest. Finding birds seems a piece of cake.
Walks around the west
Despite the low temperatures, spring appeared little by little. There was a "first of the season" for everything. Even some first time ever, as the Haran flower. My heart went out to the Gomadaracho caterpillar with its funny rabbit face. Wanna see some more? I have about a hundred! 😂
Oh, and there are a few birds in there as well.
