Aisatsu

In August, exactly after 1 year of successful blogging, we were put on hold. We, as in the the photography, the birding and me. There was not one specific reason, but the passing of Jaap's Mum, computer and camera problems as well as starting a new job and the ongoing saga with Fukyo the catamaran all seemed to add to my lack of time and concentration. But now it looks like we’re running again. And I’ll try to keep it up.

This blog is for family and friends, to share my feelings and photos with and for myself, to support my fading memory and improve my Japanese. I intend to do some writing in kanji, but am not getting very far without a Japanese computer. So for the moment I say "konnichi wa". Aisatsu dake - just saying hello.

Best Wishes

The following 4 posts are about the Netherlands and Belgium with photo's taken last summer.
There are birds of course, all common in that part of Europe, but also some scenery and a special collage of doors in Brussel. I hope to publish a post about the horses sometime in the next year.
