June seems to be the time to look for uncommon butterflies in the mountains. I had no experience here and was happy to receive guidance from Mr T. Without any real expectations I was surprised to see my first Midori Shijimi in just a few minutes.
Favonius ultramarinus
Seeing it like this is one thing, waiting for it to open its wings on a rainy and windy day is another...
Very briefly I could catch a glimpse
Wagimo signata
Rare in Kyushu, I heard. First time for me
Antigius attilia
Japonica lutea
Rapala arata
Thank you, Mr T!
