For the Silver Week holidays we decided to check out a few places for RV promotion of Yappari Kyushu. Heading towards Nagasaki, we stopped at Kagami Yama in Saga, where the raptors were flying.

The next day we passed Isahaya and saw our first Kestrel of the season

From the outer wall: a Harrier was cruising the reed beds

Further south in Azuma's rice paddies:
1 Black-winged Stilt, セイタカシギ
2 of the 5 Wood Sandpipers, タカブシギ and a Common Snipe, タシギ
a Western Yellow Wagtail, マミジロツメナガセキレイ joining the 2 Wood Sandpipers, タカブシギ

Watching from the edge of the fields: Grey-streaked Flycatcher, エゾビタキ
