First the birds close to home. In the park the Red-breasted Flycatcher continues to entertain birders. It seems well settled and it looks like a bit of coloring is coming out around the breast...

There is a female Redstart that claims the same territory. Daurian Redstart, ジョウビタキ
This bird is rather brave. I caught it perched on a branch, preening, not at all concerned about the creature 50 cm below him:
And then we have the colorful male Bluetail, who sometimes flies in and doesn't seem to mind intruders with cameras too much. Red-flanked Bluetail, ルリビタキ
I like hanging around with them. Even more so when the Pipits show up.
