Summer trip to Mt. Hakusan part 2, Ainokura

The conditions were still not good to climb Mt Hakusan, While waiting for the weather to improve, we drove around Toyama and Gifu pref. to see some of Japan's famous cultural sites.

Ainokura village. Our second visit. Time your arrival around the tourist buses and you will find a quiet place, peaceful and pretty, even in the rain.

Below some insects seen during dry spells at the White Road the day before.
Golden-crested Moth, キンモンガ    Psychostrophia melanargia

Honeysuckle Bee Hawkmoth, クロスキバホウジャク    Hemaris affinis

I want to explore more. All sorts of treasures could be hidden in there.

First sighting for me! Never seen one in Kyushu. Happy!!
Small Labyrinth, ヒメキマダラヒカゲ   Lethe callipteris

Driving to our camp for the night at Kamitaira
