What should I call them now? Siberian? Stejneger's? Common Stonecats?
The first couple of days we get all excited, seeing the Stonechats returning to our MF. We hurry to capture them. The first of the season! The birds are still shy, but a few days later, little by little they come out. Then comes the time that we see them "everywhere" and we want them to pose for us on colorful flowers. It's the same every year. However, I am grateful for that last moment, when we get an overdose of Stonechats. May that return every year as well.
