Mt. Kuju 2, Tadewara Marsh (タデ原湿原)

By the time we got to our camping spot the afternoon was turning into evening. We walked around the marsh. Always a lot to see here.

Higotai, ヒゴタイ had started to turn purple

Kusaredama, クサレダマ

Shimokkesou, シモッケソウ

Several Morning Star Lilies, (Himeyuri) ヒメユリ popped up in the greenery

The Japanese Ligularai, (Hankaisou) ハンカイソウ　were flowering, but they only look good from a distance

They get trampled on by Chestnut-eared Bunting, ホオアカ

But sometimes close-ups are ok.  No Name Moth

Same with the Japanese Water Iris, Nohanashoubuノハナショウブ

And another No Name Moth

A High Brown Fritillaru, (Uraginhyoumon) ウラギンヒョウモん

visiting the Gooseneck Loosestrife, (Okatoranoo), オカトラノオ

The Dryad, (Janomechou) ジャノメチョウ

Short-horned Grasshopper subspecies with long wings, ハネナガフクバッタ

Citron Day-lily, (Yuusuge) ユウスゲ

Chinese Peacock, (Karasu Ageha) カラスアゲハ  on Japanese Ligularia, or Chinese Dragon, (Hankaisou) ハンカイソウ. You wonder what country we're in...
