Summer birds

The rainy season is not over yet. Fukuoka got some rain, but not nearly as much as central and south Kyushu. While the clouds hover over the southern mountains, we had some good weather for birding. However, where are the birds?

Still many fledgelings around, like this Brown-eared Bulbul, ヒヨドリ...

...and this scruffy looking Blue Rock Thrush, イソヒヨドリ baby.

Moorhen, バン on the way to its nest?

Plenty of Tree Sparrows around, ススメ

In a park nearby, 2 young Kingfishers, カワセミ trying out their wings, observing the water from up high

At the coast, where people come with their fishing gear Crows always look for something to eat.
Large-billed Crow, ハシブトガラス

With a keen eye on the bush below, a young female Peregrine Falcon, ハヤブサ is perched in the rain on the roof of a hospital

We also like to show our natural colors. Rock Pigeon,ドバト
