Red-billed Starling, ギンムクドリ

Another bird that is not common in Japan. The Starling family has many relatives, spread over Europe, Africa and Asia. These pretty ones reside in East China (I remember them from Hong Kong) and occasionally come our way. We found a small flock feeding in veggie gardens in that typical cheeky starling way  \ (*o*) / /  together with the local White-cheeked Starlings, ムクドリ
