Some common and some uncommon and different butterflies seen over the summer.

Common Jay, ミカドアゲハ 

 Funny name; here in Fukuoka it's not a common butterfly at all

Similar looking Common Bluebottle, アオスジアゲハ

One morning all the Chinese Windmills, ジャコウアゲハ decided to come out.

Some could not fly yet. Their wings were slowly unfolding, while they hung on to a stem or blade of grass
