Waiting for birds in the trees, this beauty came out of the dark undergrowth and started walking my way. Clinging to the shadows first, then gaining confidence, courage or maybe trust, picking up a worm and a berry, coming closer bit by bit. A very special encounter.

Regular visitors at the Asian Prickly Ash tree, most often females, but the males usually made an appearance as well.
